In a La Liga drama, Racing Santander and Villarreal battled it out in a 2-2 draw, with neither side willing to back down.

Villarreal reduced the score to 2-1 just before the half-time whistle through a goal from Pape Gueye off a pass from Alberto Moleiro.
Villarreal equalised 2-2 just before the half-time whistle thanks to a goal from Nicolas Pépé set up by Georges Mikautadze. The second half was goalless and the match ended 2-2.
For Racing Santander, this means fourth place in the table, while Villarreal are third in the league.
